Spooky's Pizza

I ate there since I was a little girl. The place changed over time but the ambiance is still very much the same. There used to be a place where you could stand on a brass bar and watch them through the glass making the pizza. The staff would bring out your own little dough ball to make your own little pizza for your very own. That was so much fun. I always go there to eat when I am in town. Pros: Great pizza, great staff! fun place to eat. Cons: I see none more

I've taken my 7th grade class there every spring for 4 years now and every time I am pleased with the service to my large group of hungry teens. It is a perfect midpoint in our travels through the Columbia River Gorge. Easy Access and parking off of I-84. The owners are great people, the staff are high school age but very nice and provide fast service. My students love the pizza and video games. I call ahead and they have a seating area available for us right away along with the pitchers of soda. The pizza is good, not great but is served hot. We usually are there on a Wednesday evening and it is busy but not packed, not sure what the weekends are like. It is just a great place for groups. I used to work here and I will never get tired of eating at this place! Fun atmosphere for kids. The pizza is hand-made with dough from scratch. The owner, Bob, really cares about the quality of his food. This place is the cleanest place you will EVER eat in! Most of the servers are young but they are fanatics about cleaning & sanitizing everything. The salads are innovative, filling and fresh! The sandwiches are indescribable. I love the Hefty Henry, personally. The navy bean & ham soup brings people in from all over. And nothing beats the Buffalo Chip: a huge, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream on top! Oh yeah, and the homemade strawberry lemonade makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The Lemonade, Oriental Salad & Reubens are probably the best-selling. Pros: Big portions, nice about sharing. Cons: Older building looks funny. more
