Pleasantly Suprised !!!! 1/28/2012

I had dinner with family and we decided on the Spinning Fork on Rt 4 in Fairfield. My wife and I went in with in low expectations and when we got our meal we were blown away. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was quite and comfortable with an italian feel. more

I love this place! Ate there today on a diet and it killed not to eat the trio.I had the sun died chicken pasta.It was very tasteful.I love non chain place more

Best Italian Food in Cincinnati,Oh 2/13/2011

Highly recommended.Ate there today 2/13/11.Food was excellent.Waitress was very pleasant and very good.Her name is Heather and i'm telling you between the quality of the food and her great service the wife and I will Definetly go back. more

I was very disappointed with the lack of taste and texture in the food. We ordered four different meals and they were all equally bland, definitely not worth the $60 tab (not including drinks). The problem is, we really wanted to like the restaurant, as it is a local non-chain, nearby restaurant. The decor was nice, the staff disinterested, the food unpleasant. more

Lovely to Look at..but don't eat here 8/1/2010

While traveling through the area (we always visit Jungle Jim's when heading south down 75) we decided to grab a bite to eat before hitting the road again. Rather than keep searching near 75, we decided that The Spinning Fork look really cute from the outside, had a lot of cars in the parking lot and you can screw up pasta, right? I usually don't like chain restaurants, but in this case I would choose about any chain Italian restaurant over the Spinning Fork. The food is terrible ! Pros: Good location, nice decor Cons: food is terrible more

Great Authentic Italian Restaurant 1/12/2009

We have always loved the Spinning Fork Restaurant because of it's authentic Italian food and good service. We stopped in at their new restaurant last week with some friends. The service was great, the food was very good but the portions we received were extremely small. The piece of lasagne was so small it wouldn't fill up a child's appetite . The spaghetti was the same way. Portions were so small we left hungry, hence the 3 star rating. We love the Spinning Fork and will give it another try and hope the portions are larger. Pros: Great service, good food and ambience Cons: Portions were way too small for an average appetite more

Bad food, average service 3/2/2008

We went to the Spinning Fork, and sat down rather quickly but had to wait for our server. We finally ordered our drinks and our food at the same time. We ordered spaghetti with marinara for two of the kids and chicken fingers for the other. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the spaghetti with Italian sausage. Pros: It was a relatively pretty restaurant Cons: Food, Service, Value more

Best family Italian Restaurant in Greater CIncinnati. 5/12/2007

The Spinning Fork is a wonderful family restaurant. The service is always excellent and attentive. Our out of town relatives always have us take them there for their spaghetti sauce. The house salad dressing is so good that it's the only restaurant where I don't order Bleu Cheese dressing. In terms of qualtiy for the price, this is one place where you will feel you definitely got your money's worth. more

Great! 7/18/2004

My family visited the Spinning Fork for the first time recently and the food was great! I had the Chicken alla Rosa. It was fabulous! A light, creamy tomato sauce with strips of chicken. I suggest ordering Angel Hair instead of the larger pasta that comes with it. The Wedding Soup was good also. Pros: Flavor, Service, Price more

Yuck 6/22/2004

I ordered the Ling. with white clam sauce. The sauce was made with canned chopped clams. I don't know if they used the canned clams and put them in sauce they had ""made"" or if they just went to the grocery store and bought canned white clam sauce. It was horrible. I will never go back under any circumstances. Cons: , poor value more
