Spin Ultra Lounge & Gourmet Pizza

I went to Spin last Thursday 4/16 for the first time in awhile..very impressed to how it has come back to being the hott spot on Thursday's once again..the dress code has been picked up a notch as well which is good, I hate seeing guys in there with there cut-off sleave shirts so all that is gone!! The girls who have been dancing up in those cages are freakin amazing HOTT and I dont know how they do it for so long..I'm recommeding this spot to all my friends and making sure they come out with me every Thursday!! Pros: Great Looking people & Really great drinks!! Cons: Needs to be larger for more dancing! more

Horrendous experience. We got there kind of late last night, and they charged each of us full cover of course. Then after 10 minutes of dancing, the music cut out. The DJ pretended like someone tripped over his chord or something, but I saw him behind his computer restarting it a bunch of times. Clearly he screwed up, and wasn't willing to admit. Have you not heard of bringing a simple Zune as a backup music player?!?!? Anyway, this void of music went on for 15 minutes, while everyone was booing, at which point most of the club bailed out, all prior to 1AM. They refused to give us a dime of our money back. The biggest waste of our money and time. That was my first and last time at spin. Clearly the management is unable to show some understanding and appreciation to the customers... Cons: DJ and Management ruined the experience, they really need to own up to their mistakes more

As far as the people who work there... the only friendly people in the entire clube are the bar tenders. Everyone else is a straight up azz(wont let me spell the word lol) hole... the comment says below me that they're racst.. no they're just azz holes... unless they're white and racst agains whites... which ... hey ya never know .. lol.. but ne ways... I was not given eye contact, given huge amounts of attitude and regarded as if i was some piece of crp no one should even look at.... and on the dance floor was a bunch of guys groping me so I was forced to dance in the cage, which was fun... until some huge guy got up there with me... he was escorted down.. but common ewe.... annnd as I left the club I was yelled at for standing HALF way down the street to wait for my ride instead of all the way at the corrner.... excuse me if I don't want to get mollested!! \r There was 3 things in the club that were good. The cage, the bar tenders, and the DJ. The rest was rediculous, trashy and unprofessional. more

My girlfriends and I decided to do a girls night out and try something new, so we went to SPIN in Walnut Creek. It was our first time and definitely our last!!! The security guys and waitress we had an issue with was extremely rude, prejudice, and have no class!!! If you?re looking for a diverse crowd or a fun and friendly place to hang out, I would not recommend this place. Go somewhere where the staff knows what good customer service means and treats people with respect. These guys are so arrogant and one waitress in particular is a major ?B----?!!! DON?T GO THERE IT?S NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! If I was the owner, I?d fire them all and hire some new people who knows how to do a better job cause they?re ruining their reputation and preventing people from coming back. more

My husband and I went here on a Thursday night for pizza. I would have never known the restaurant existed except for the fact that I found it on Citysearch. The pizza was excellent and Tony Gemignani made the pizza personally for us. For $10 the pizza was a bargain, good quality and nice environment. Pros: Great pizza! more

Stopped into SPIN for a cocktail at around 8pm on a weeknight. As it turned out I was at the club on the same night as Surreal Entertainment's Pussycat Lounge. This happens at SPIN every Thursday night, so I stuck around for a second & third cocktail to find out the what the ""hype"" is all about. The DJ rolled in after ""happy hour"" came to a close, then a bit later you could hear some boombastic grooves warming up from the back of the lounge. For me at least, these beats (which at first are muffled by closed sliding doors seperating the club's dance floor & VIP room from the front bar) built up some anticipation as to what was to come. At about 10pm, the front bar REALLY begins to bounce with an eclectic mix of ""club-goers"" being served by four bartenders who hustle to make sure everyone gets a drink or two. Just about every group of ladies had one friend wander over to say ""Hey"" to the bouncer guarding the entrance to the back of the club. A power forward for the Warriors even got to SPIN early knowing the scene was about to erupt. After the floodgates opened, the dance floor filled up, the Surreal Girls took the room, and well...they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the promoter's website. I didn't get a chance to grab the ""famed"" Cal-Italia pizza they serve, but I will be back soon...very soon. Pros: Excellent DJ, great lighting & sound, attentive bartenders more
