When I arrived all other customers (all 3)were eating. Then why in the world would it take 15 minutes to get a sandwich and 2 sides? This is 1:00 on sat. so I guess I should have noted Dreamland was packed and they had 2 cars and one was mine. The pork was cold and very dry. The hash brown casarole was barley warm and too dense. As if it had been setting too long. Asked for Okra received fries. Not a problem and the waitress did show me that she wrote okra and the cook got it wrong. Does anyone think more than $3.00 for banana pudding is a deal? I know it says enough to share but what if your alone or no one else wants banana pudding. The signs they have up are too big and since you don't have RC or PBR why have it so proudly displayed? Booths definitely let you know your not going to stay and chat as the black plastic is not covering a much of a pad. Over all this is not the first time I had been here and wrote off the first time of not so great food and service to they had just opened and were working out the bugs that is not the case I am afraid to say. Given a glass with lipstick smeared on it. Pulled pork very dry. Brisket sandwich cut very thick and no smoke ring or smoke flavor. It was fatty and tender but tasted like roasted brisket. Corn souflee very dry as was the hash brown casserole. Baked beans good but I've had the exact same ones other places (out of a can)? Potato salad has an odd spice or herb involved. Fried okra was good. French fries made in house which is a good thing but theirs was cooked improperly and were very soft, limp and full of oil. This was their second chance and that's all they get. Check their parking lot then check dreamland. Pros: Fried okra is good and the ice is pretty cold. Cons: Dirty glasses, poor bbq, dry sides more
