Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto 3/10/2006

The service here is quite appalling, to be honest. My waiter was very rude and snobby, and needless to say, I didn’t leave him any tips. The seafood here, however, is quite good (though some dishes are bland, I must admit), but it doesn’t make up for the sloppy service. Also, when I went here, I noticed that the guests were mostly elderly. Not a bad thing, but just putting out there. Oh, and did I mention that it was expensive!!! more

Fresh 11/30/2005

This is one of the finer cusines that I have been too. There food is indeed fresh. I can tell because it doesn't taste like fish that we cook at home and leave in the fridge for two days. The prices are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. more

Spenger's Fish Grotto 8/9/2005

Spenger's Fish Grotto is located right off the freeway. They have limited free parking but paid parking is available across the street. They have a nautical style decor on their walls but the tables look formal. The food is good but I would say I have had better seafood at a more inexpensive price. It is nice to go to though if you want something different like tilapia for example. more
