I have been doing business with Spencers for about 25 years now and I can tell you that they have always treated me fairly with great service and reasonable prices. I have both taken my appliances into their shop and also had them come over to my house for service calls and I would recommend them to anyone who wants first rate service at a reasonable price! And by the way, I have eleven children so our appliances get used a lot! more

I have always been please with Spencer's, which has been in Portland for a million (slight exaggeration) years. Good repair, good for appliance parts, and used appliances. Competent, efficient, no baloney. Wanted to use another word but thought better of it. more

I have used Spencer's Appliances for all my appliances and repair needs for my rentals that are just over the bridge in Vancouver the past 3 years. I am very pleased with their customer service and value. Used appliances are not without an occasional repair issue, but they are honest and helpful. more

I purchased a refurbished washing machine here about 4 years ago, and it is still going strong (and I do laundry just about every single day)!!!! The people at Spencer's were friendly and they offered one of the best used appliance warranties I could find. I think it was a 6 month warranty--which is why I bought from them instead of off of Craigslist or a garage sale. more

I needed a large capacity freezer on short notice and my appliance repair shop recommended Spencer's for used appliances. I called Spencer's and they had an older used freezer, which I asked them to plug in so I could check the temperature the next day when I went in to see it. They actually called me the next day to tell me the temp before I even got to the store (-20 degrees F). I went down, looked at it, and was treated courteously by the staff there. I paid for it and it was delivered the next day. The delivery man knew what he was doing, respected my property, and hauled off the old freezer that did not work. For under $200 I got a 21 cubic foot freezer, delivered, AND a 6 month warranty. I actually got it sooner than if I had bought from Lowe's! I have had the freezer now for 10 months and it has worked great - keeping my freezer lambs at -20 to -40 degrees. I highly recommend Spencer's and would buy from them again. I called spencers to come figure out how to fix my washing machine. the guy who came out (i wish i could remember his name) was super friendly and i felt very comfortable. he knew what he was talking about and even advised me on how to do sort of a "quick fix" to work around the problem rather than paying a bunch of money for an old dryer. I thought that was invaluable! The next time another appliance breaks, i will call them again. more

Spencer's has good variety of appliances to select from. Recently when my washing machine broke down, I was referred to Spencer's by a friend. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the washing machine that I wanted for the price that I wanted. Would definitely recommend this store to everyone. Excellent prices!
