Buyer Beware! This company has horrible customer service and will not stand behind their products. Dancers warned me not to go there and I didn't listen. Now I am out $120 and I have no dance shoes because my dance shoes are defective and they would not replace them. more

extremely rude! 10/28/2011

Today i went to the Spells in Green Hills to purchase a new pair of ballet shoes. The employee that assisted me with trying on shoes was very unpleasant. She talked down to me like i did not deserve to buy a pair of shoes from them. Her tone was very snobby and rude and she completely ruined my experience at Spells. I walked in very excited to get my first pair of pointe shoes, and i left very upset and hurt. I will not step foot in this store again. Pros: null Cons: null more

Rude staff and lousy service 10/28/2011

I was stunned at how rude the staff was when I went in to purchase dancewear. I've been involved with dance for years and knew what I wanted but no one looked up from their conversation when I waited for help. When I finally got someone's attention it was obvious that they could not have cared a bit whether I found what I was looking for. They did have what I wanted but I wasn't inclined to give them my business. I ordered it online for much less at Discount Dance. I'll never go back since my other dance friends have had similar experiences. I don't know how they stay in business. Pros: null Cons: null more

Wonderful assistance 8/31/2010

I walked into Spell's today, a little nervous as I wasn't completely sure of what all I needed to purchase. The assistant that helped me was very patient and asked the questions and guided me. I purchased a pair of ballet slippers and tights for my daughter. I WILL return for her next pair of shoes and more! Thank you! more

Great Staff, But Overpriced 6/20/2010

The store has a great staff. They are just WAY overpriced, and have little to no selection for men. All they have for men is black capezio tights, and one style of capezio dance belts that are super uncomfortable, and Bloch shoes. Pros: Convienient location Cons: Little mens selection, very pricey. more

BEST DANCE SUPPLIER 4/7/2008

i have been in danceinf professionaly science i was three years old, i go through shoes ALL THE TIME. Pros: wonderful staff, a lot of sizes, great location Cons: they don't always have the best prices.... more

Very Friendly and Great to work with 2/27/2008

As a 30's something adult I was a little weary of buying dance shoes since the last pair I owned were pink and I was 3! The staff "walked" or "danced" me thru the steps and were more than helpful. I will buy my next pair from them too... and eventually when my husband realizes he needs better dance shoes....he will get his from Spell's as well!
