Speedy Septic

I cannot recommend Speedy Septic. I had Speedy Septic out to pump our septic tank as part of its regular maintenance. In the process, they broke our baffle...as I subsequently learned, you can't go for very long without a baffle unless you want to ruin your drain field. The guy said the tank was too old to install a new baffle and that they could provide a 1500 gallon plastic tank for $7500 but would need half down right away to get the paperwork started. Not happy about this ... yes, the septic tank/baffle was old ... so maybe it was impossible not to break it. But, really, my only option was a $7500 plastic replacement tank? I felt like I was getting an aggressive sales pitch. I declined and got bids from two other companies ... they both said I only needed a 1,000 gallon tank for my size house and would install a concrete tank. One bid was $4500 and one was for $5000. And one of the companies explained how to make a temporary baffle which my husband was able to install. What a relief! When I asked Speedy about putting in another baffle, they said they didn't think it could be done. \r \r Bottom line, I think they use aggressive sales tactics and are way overpriced ... cannot recommend them. more

I would unconditionally recommend Speedy Septic & Rooter Service. Everyone I dealt with from the initial phone call to the person that completes the work has been professional, competent, and friendly. The work was completed in a timely manner and there was good communication throughout the process. This company will continue to be my first choice for any future septic maintenance service or repair. more

The service was indeed very speedy, but also done in a friendly and very professional manner, and very reasonably priced. The service folks that came to my home were very experienced and explained what they were doing, and why. I'd recommend this company to anyone that needs septic work. more

I called Roto Rooter and they came out with all sorts of attitude telling me I needed thousands of dollars of repairs....Speedy just came out and pumped our tank for cheap and no hassles...in and out...no $hit! Perfect service for a thankless job. more

The were fast polite and helped clean up a mess. I dont envy their job, but am so glad they were there to help. We will having them come back and install a new septic tank ASAP... Thanks for coming to the rescue. more

Prompt, polite, efficient, competent -- need I say more?\r I've used Speedy and their related company, Sepco, a couple of times -- Sepco installed a new tank+drainfield a few years ago. Speedy did a recent repair/pump-out job. Both as pleasant an experience as one could hope for, under the circumstances. more
