I started doing the Speedy Rewards several months ago, with the thought of getting things a bit cheaper, getting freebies, and getting coupons.
Over time, it almost became an obsession- see how little I can spend to get as many points as I can!
As we are not much of a driving family (I'm a SAHM, and my husband works 2 blocks away, so he walks more often than not), it took us quite a while to get up there in points.
I am finally at the 10,000 point range. Or, was, I should say. My keys are sunk on the bottom of a river now, my only speedy rewards card safely attached to them.
After contacting Speedway, I found that all I need to do is get a new card, and call them, and they will transfer my amount to the new card! No points lost!
I think that's a very cool thing to do. It shows they care that the customer has the best experience possible. I must admit, if I had not been given the option of transferring my points, I probably would not be going back to them.
They also mentioned that because of that card, if anyone ever finds my keys, they can take them into the shop, and Speedway will send them back to me!
Speedway might not always have the cheapest gas, but the customer satisfaction goes a LONG ways in my book.
