Professional job with a personal touch.. 2/27/2011

I visited SOS to inquire about the instilation of a new head unit I had purchased preveously at another location. I was delt with promtly and professionally apon entering the buisness. I was given a number of instilation options and my questions were answered with knowledgeable responces. Milton was eager to make adjustments to the instilation based on my personal preference. After the instilation was complete Milton was even kind enough to adress other issues with my car that were not related to audio. I would recomend SOS to any one looking for a comfortable car audio experience. more

Amazing service. My go to place for car accessories 2/22/2011

I got tints done on my honda and they look phenomenal. Great price on those. Went back a couple weeks later to buy two twelve inch subs in a ported box. I didn't hear of the brand before but milton recommended the subs and guaranteed me that they would tear in my car. surely enough they did, they exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled with the job done on them. him and his buddy eddie gave me great service and did an extremely neat job hiding all my wires and installing the subs. i highly recommend this place to go for car audio or car accessories. I'm definitely going back to get more stuff done to my car. They are really, really good at what they do. more

neat & clean install 2/6/2011

Milton installed an XM radio unit in our Honda CRV. Very neat & clean - no wires- a professional install. We were given a convenient appointment on a Saturday- the car was ready in a few hours at the price quoted. more

Impressed 2/4/2011

My son and daughter gave me a car starter for Christmas and that is how I had my first hand experience with Speed of Sound. What a great experience it was! Professional, timely, clean and efficent. I highly recommend them! more

Great Experience! 1/24/2011

I have had 'Speed of Sound' install an automatic starter, LED lights under my car, and window tints for my vehicle and I can't express enough how happy I am with the quality of the work and how much I am impressed with everything that was done. I will always be a 'Speed of Sound' customer. more

Alarm/Remote Start Installation. 1/21/2011

I brought a viper 5901 remote start and alarm which was taken out of another vehicle to Speed of Sound. The unit itself was in great shape, but the wiring was a mess due to me taking it out from my other vehicle. I placed it on the counter in front of Milton and he knew exactly what needed to be done. The install was done better than ANY other I have had. I watied during the process and randomly watched him work and can say that the work he does is very professionally done. Outstanding would be a better way to put it. I will be using Speed of Sound for ALL future auto audio, video, alarm, etc. needs. more

Should be renamed Speed of "Quality" Sound Tech 1/19/2011

I called several places that immediately gave me quotes over the phone, and insisted that I go in pronto so that they could the the Pioneer Navigation install in couple of hours that same day. The last place I called was Speed of Sound (SOS). I spoke with Milton who said that he could not give me a quote because he needed to see the equipment I had and then we could talk about price and time. I told Milton I was shopping around for prices, to which he responded "I understand, and I am not the cheapest around because I do the best work in the state". SOLD. I was hooked because this was a person that inspired professionalism. Some that says this to you is because they believe what they say. I just spent top money on system that I knew needed to be install the right way. I know that hi-end electronics require high-end care. This place exudes quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Milton kept me informed of the progress being made, consulted me on equipment location, and advised me when I needed to make decisions. Finally, this is the kicker...Milton pointed out a mistake that had been made on my initial quote which saved me $150. I thanked him for his honesty and he replied, "I am not in the business of taking advantage of people." In all sincerity, thanks Milton for the quality install of my new toy. Fantastic Place, Great Products, Wonderful Service 12/27/2010

I went in knowing what I wanted & an idea of what it might cost me. The price I was quoted was much less than what I had expected & Mr. Benavides explained everything in detail to me. I called them about 2 weeks later to see if I can drop my car off to get the products installed & he was able to squeeze me in that same morning. The products were installed & I got my car back in a matter of a few hours. So far its been about a month since that day & I couldn't be happier with the quality of the products & professionalism of the team. I would recommend them above anyone else. more

I have gone to the Speed of Sound Technologies for probably the past 2 or 3 years. If there was ever a problem, they always took care of it. They built me a back deck, 4 or 5 boxes, and installed speakers. He also put in an extra battery and a high output alternator. Everything is fine. You are in good hands with Speed of Sound. He is a pretty professional guy, and if there are any problems they will fix them free of charge. more

Great Customer Service..i called one day asking for a sealed box for 2 tens went the next day picked it up for a great price...got red LED's installed on drive and passanger side of my cavalier z24 also got strip done in trunk..proffesional right here dudes great knows exactly what hes doing..great guy...unfortunately i got all that stuff done and my car blew up..so milton if you read this ill be back with a 2000 civic and im gonna get window tint headlight tailight tint LEDs more

I have gone to Speed of Sound Technologies for several of my cars, and they always explain in detail what I am getting and how it works. In one car I got a full custom stereo system, and after I picked it up they took the time to explain how it all works. They are very professional; they make sure I understand the product and answer all my questions before I leave. The finished product is great. I have never had a problem or any issues with any of the products I've received from Speed of Sound. I would highly recommend them because it is obvious they know what they are doing. They are the best around from that perspective. more

I decided to use Speed of Sound Technologies because of their quality and professionalism. Their products are awesome and Milton gets me in and out in a timely way. They have worked on at least 10 of my cars and done a variety of things, including alarms, remote starts, stereo equipment, speakers, cameras, and lighting. I have been satisfied and then some. I have been to other places, and I highly recommend Speed of Sound Technologies. I am so happy with them. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more
