Great place for your kids! I can't say enough wonderful things about Speed Athletics. My daughter has so much fun here and has made many new friends. The coaches are amazing and really care about the kids. They helped my little girl learn so much and she loves it. They have a worlds team that's amazing to watch! Everyone is so nice and supportive here. I would definitely recommend checking out Speed Athletics! more

Beware the ?new money? mom?s. My daughters cheered with the mom below from Indiana Elite and she was ALWAYS AT THE GYM! The rest of us dropped off/picked up our girls, but she watched every minute of practice and tumbling class. Her daughters were on multiple cheer squads plus a dance squad, plus tumbling, so we are talking 10-12 hours a week she was sitting at the gym. Then she got on the executive board and you wondered if she had a real home. A lot of good families left Indiana Elite because all the ?new money? moms were so EXHAUSTING! I pray she has turned over a new leaf at this gym for her daughter?s sake, and the sake of her marriage. more

Excellent Cheer Program for your Children! 4/15/2012

My girls were at Indiana Elite for 7 years until we came to Speed this year. Hands down, Speed is a much better program. Our old gym became very political, played favorites, focused on becoming a 'powerhouse' in the cheer industry, and my children were considered a 'necessary casualty' when treated horribly. At Speed my kids are treated with respect and have gained skills while working in a much more fun environment with excellent coaches and a great Speed 'family'. If you want a place that truly cares about your child and doesn't treat them like a pawn, then Speed is for you. more

Phenomenal Program 3/29/2012

After just our first year here we are simply thrilled. It is amazing how the staff is able to motivate and inspire my girls to be the best they can be in their constant drive for growth. The coaches are professional & knowledgeable. They promote teamwork & discipline. The owners are involved from top to bottom and seem truly passionate about the development of our kids. After watching them sit idle for so long in our previous club, it's been really refreshing to see our children's enjoyment. I would strongly recommend it. more

Unorganized 3/22/2012

While the coaches do teach the kids well and seem to be fairly friendly, be prepared to change your competition schedule at the last minute or with very short notice. Teams are pulled at the last minute with sub-par (in my opinion) competitions found as replacements. This is our second and last season here because we just can't take the constant, last minute changes. We'll be heading to another cheer gym in town whose schedule is set by June with changes happening only if the event is canceled. more

The best instructors and facility that we've experienced 2/9/2011

Have been involved in the activity of tumbling for five years now and competitive cheer the last two. My kids, (8 and 12) have had more fun and been more productive during their time at Speed Athletics than they ever have before. The instructors we've had are all really upbeat, fun and truly take the time to instruct proper technique in everything they teach. Couldn't be more thrilled! more

outstanding and real 5/27/2010

Finally found a program that lives up to my expectations. Can't believe it took us this long to run into it. I've had more fun and made more improvements in my skills during the 5 months I've been a part of it than in all of my previous years combined. If you like a place where coaches scream at the girls and make cheerleading a miserable place, then this is the place for you. Cons: No joy of cheerleading here more

FEES 11/21/2009

We just wanted to clarify the previous review. All classes ARE in fact $45/month. There is a ONE TIME annual family registration fee of $30. This is not a monthly charge. All information including monthly fees, payment policies, annual family fee, cancellations, etc are included on the initial registration form. This form is completed, acknowledged, signed and returned prior to any permanent enrollment and/or billing taking place. Speed Athletics Pros: clarification more

FEES- 10/6/2009

I was very excited that I could enroll my daughter in tumbling. A Speed rep quoted me a price of $45/ month. We had our free class! When we went to the 2nd class they informed us it would be $75!!!! Apparantly no one thought to mention the $30 monthly fee! I'm VERY disappointed this was never mentioned. And want to know why I'm charge a $30 month fee so my 7 yr old can you use your facility ONE day a week. We NEVER would have done it had we know. Pros: $45 per month for tumbling Cons: $30 per monthly fees NOT MENTIONED! more
