Great plate to bring your car 12/1/2009

My car was started sputtering and wasn't running right at all. This was the nearest shop so i stopped in to see if they could help me. When the guy came out to talk to me he told me that my flashing check engine light was bad and could cause damage to some expensive parts if its not fixed soon. they seemed very busy when i got their and the guy said it would be a little while until they could get it into the shop. I had things to do I couldnt be stuck here. I told the guy that I had to get home to meet the school bus and I couldnt. this is the best part, he offered to give me a ride home. i didnt even have to ask. about an hour later they called and explained what was wrong with my car. apparently a coil went bad. he also told me that my car was overdue to have its spark plugs replaced, which i already knew because the toyota dealer wanted lots of money to replace them. but, they wanted half the price. a couple hours later they called and told me it was done. they came to pick me up in my own car, I drove it back and no problems at all. I would strongly recommend everyone try this shop out. I will be going back for all my car stuff in the future. Pros: Nicest guys around more

Fantastic Shop 8/25/2009

I have been to other places to get my car repaired but never have a been to a place like speedee. my car was in the shop and being looked at within 10 minutes of arriving. i was there to get a quote to have my brakes repaired. the bmw dealer told me that all of my calipers were bad and needed to be replaced. they wanted $1300 for all the work that i ""needed"". much different story when i had speedee look at them. apparently my calipers are fine and all i really needed was a brake hose replaced. like magic my car was fixed and it only cost me $120. i will be going to this shop from now on. they escorted me into the shop to show me the problem and even explained how my calipers work and why they did not have to be replaced. very happy with their honesty and service. Waited for nearly an hour for inspection..... 6/4/2009

If I could give this horrible place 0 stars, I wouldn't think twice before doing it. I went here to have my truck inspected and waited for close to an hour, before these idiots even realized it was there for inspection. When I asked the manager who took my registration in upon arrival if they knew it was there, he said they must because he put the registration in the work area somewhere. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I had to wait for three people when I got there. But when a lady's car was done that came in after me and my truck was still in the same spot, I got very irritated and demanded to the manager to go and ask them if they know it's there. So he proceeded to go into the work area and ask the employees if they knew. He came back out and said that they didn't see the registration in the place that he had put it. At this point I wanted to just get out of there, but the guy had run out to it and was pulling it in already. So he comes in after the inspection more

THEY ARE DISHONEST AND CHARGE OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT FOR PARTS 11/14/2008

My fuel tank was leaking gas and they advised me to leave it there overnight. When I showed up in the morning, the mechanic told me the fuel tank( 98' Honda Accord) would cost $375 and the labor will be $400. I told him the part costs $197.99 at Autozone and he claims it has to be ordered from Honda. What a rip off and a liar!!!! I told him No thanks and got the part for $211 and labor costs me $150 at a nearby mechanic shop. more
