I have been a unfortunate victim of Time Warner's customer service for 8 painful years; well no more. I have changed to Everest because it has finally made it to my area.
In those 8 years I have had random charges added to my bill, numerous service outages, and a Customer Service Rep actually tell me that my bill is higher in Missouri then it was in Kansas because "there was not competition in Missouri and they could charge me whatever they wanted."
I have never called Time Warner for a issue and not spent a good 30 minutes on hold, only to have them tell me there is nothing they can do and that I would have to have a service specialist come to my house sometime between 12-5.
I am waiting for a refund from them that was promised to me 3 months ago, I have called 3 times and each time they have some excuse, the latest one was I would have to contact the local branch about a refund; that's funny because the local branch told me to call the main number. I guess I will wait another month to get my check. I know that having cable and high speed internet are increasingly important so my advice: anyone but Time Warner
