The kids club at Spectrum is awesome! I was able to drop my kids off for 4 hours and leave the club and run some errands. Its a great program and a big help for those of us who have two or more kids to take care of. I highly recommend "Later Gator" for those crazy days when you have a million things to do and dont want to bring the kids along! Pros: Very friendly staff more

This club has an amazing Kids Club!! I have 3 children and they all really enjoy going there, and never want to leave! It makes my workouts that much more enjoyable knowing that they are having a great time, and in good hands! The staff there is wonderful, and I feel that they know me and my children on a personal basis. I just took my children to Parent's Night Out this past weekend and I couldn't get them out of there!! My husband and I had a beautiful and much needed date night, while the kids had their own pizza party! It was something we couldn't pass up since it was such a reasonable price, and we are absolutely doing it again next month..and the month after...and the month after that....... more

Spectrum health club has it all 8/20/2007

This club has it all, which is hard to find, plenty of free weights and nautilus machines, cycling, basketball and a pool. I'm one of those guys that spends about 2 hours working out, so I like to find a club that has everything I do. I can do my regular workout and I can pick up a game most of the time. I think my dues are reasonable and I can visit the cafe on my way out. There's nothing I can't do. If you are an athlete looking for the gym that can offer not only weights, definitely check it out. Pros: basketball, a pool, cycling and a food weight floor Cons: healthier option in the cafe more

Awesome Club! 3/31/2007

From the moment I walked in for a tour I was competely taken back by how professional and nice everyone was. The gal at the front desk helped me out and got me set up with Dominique who helped me with my membership. She explained everything to me and had an educated answer for all of my questions and she really seemed to believe in what she was selling me. Since joining the club, I haven't had any problems with bringing guests, dropping my son off in kids club, or taking the Cycle classes in the evening. There are always plenty of bikes and it really seems well maintained. I really think I'm getting more than my money's worth every month!!! Very very pleased! Pros: The people are nice, not too crowded, great parking structure with cameras on my car Cons: I can't make it to all the classes I want! more

Great Gym! 3/31/2007

I was seriously scared about joining another gym. Mostly because I have spent a pretty penny on a multitude of gyms and I have not truly utilized them as I should have. I feel totally different about it now though. I just joined the Spectrum Club in Thousand Oaks and I am so glad. The membership rep who helped me (Joey) was fantastic. He showed me everything, and explained this really neat program they have here called HealthMiles. Now I have this pedometer that I can wear to see how active I am and I get rewarded by working out! I can get gift card for my favorite places by being healthy. I am excited and talking to everyone about the program. You should check out Spectrum in Thousand Oaks and ask about the HealthMiles, I did and I am so happy! Pros: Workout incentives, Staff, Atmosphere Cons: Nothing! more

Best Classes in the Conejo Valley 3/21/2007

I looked at the schedule of classes, there is actually too many to choose from. I only kickbox, but i peeked into the cycle room and it's so big the bikes go on forever. Kid's club is awesome, my daughter is sad when she leaves, this club is hands down the cleanest health club around (I even take showers there). nothing bad to say about this at all. Pros: classes, kids club, pool is beautiful Cons: not too many more

Date Night! Who would have thought? Two hours just me and my husband, in the middle of the week? The Kids Club has date night everyThursday from 6 to 8 which is perfect! Right when my husband gets home! My kids had a great time in their fun facility and we didn't even have to worry about feeding them! This is definitely something we will be incoorporating into our weekly schedule in order to keep our marriage alive! When we were there, we also found out that we can have 4 hours together, alone...on a Saturday night. Every month they have Parent's Night Out! I love all the things they have to offer for my kids AND my husband and I. I love their staff, the facility is very clean, enjoyable, and safe. I highly recommend going there! more
