Senior designer has been with the business since 2001 and has been doing the majority of the designs(and all of the wedding cakes) for the past year +. Additional design staff includes past employees of the business with strengths in sculpture, pulled sugar and pastry. Front staff and owner provide customer service and tiered cake consultations. Expanded hours on monday and expansive opportunities to consult. New products for cash & carry include more cake and cupcake flavor options with an updated, refined look and new products include fruit tarts, cream puffs, eclairs and handmade chocolate. Polished look in the front of the store includes new equipment and a new logo. An open house is scheduled for May 7th and 1000 cupcakes will be handed out. Bob has been making cake for me for years. I have never had a bad experience. Last year he out did himself.. I ordered a guitar cake for my 16 year old grandson.. the cake was beautiful. Thank you for a job well done. more

We got our wedding cake from this place. The cake was affordable, decorated very nicely, and very tasty. We were very worried about everything going right on our wedding day, and the very last thing we wanted to happen was for something to go wrong with the wedding cake. We were referred to this place by someone else who had gotten their wedding cake there, so we felt safe giving it a try. We had no problems whatsoever. The staff was very friendly and the cake was incredible. more

Specialty Cakes by Bob Miller does AMAZING wedding cakes. If you're not in the market for a wedding cake they also do cakes for other occasions such as showers and birthdays. Stop in sometime. They always have some treats made up that you can grab to take home with you....a small assortment of cookies and cupcakes. I have to highly recommend the raspberry cupcakes. I can't wait for our anniversary in a few months to go get a little raspberry cake to celebrate. It's definitely in the top five cakes I've ever had. more

I suggest staying away from Specialty Cakes by Bob Miller. I was treated very poorly by the two women working there, who are relatives of Miller. I was trying to explain how I wanted my wedding cake to look and the lady told me that was “tacky.” Turns out this is because it was a style that Miller can’t or doesn’t do, so therefore she was trying to get me to change my mind. Instead I walked out. The shop is run-down and depressing. The cakes in the showcase look to be a hundred years old and less than tempting. I should have known right away and walked out, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. It was a very bad experience overall – beware. Bob might be a nice guy but he needs to be more careful about who he lets deal with customers. more
