Did not come out on the day they promised. Called the next day they told me it might be another day or two. I reminded them that I had made the appointment a week in advance. He said he didn't care, and maybe I should just go somewhere else! So I did. They sound polite but treat you like idiots. more

Over-Priced. 247 dollars to replace a connection hose to the hot water heater. Don't get me wrong, the tech gave me a price upfront, and stated it would take 30 mins to an hour to do the work. He was done in 10 minutes and still charged me 247.00. I just see how you expect to get repeat business with outrageous prices like that. Will never use them again. more

Wow...where to begin. We spent almost $40K with Nob Hill on our new home. They sent me invoices 1 year after we moved in saying that we didn't pay them. They double invoiced for items. Now we have a shower that won't work. I called to see about getting a new part. Was told it was under warranty. When I arrived to pick up part (after 4 weeks of waiting and no shower), I was told I had to pay for the part and I would have to deal with the manufacturer myself to get money back. I called the owner an a***ole and he proceeded to pick up the part and walked to the back and said I couldn't have it. I would never in a million years recommend Nob Hill to anyone. DO NOT go to this store. more

\r I googled the closet plumber to my house to come fix my ever running - leaking shower and got Al's plumbing about 2 blocks from my house in Plano. They said anywhere between 3-5. So I left work to go home and wait. They ran late on a job - it's after 5 - no problem - so I got a snow day at work, cool. When the repair man arrived he was VERY polite, professional, courteous well humored and extremely informative. I did however almost have a heart attack when he told me the job would run me an estimated $898, maybe more once they got on the job. GASP! He understood my pain and suggested a tentative solution until I could afford the ""major over haul"" and it was going to be a mere $440. This solution although less expensive may not fix the problem and once he was into the job he may have to complete it anyway. HOLY MOLY! I thanked him for his time and paid the FREAKING TRIP CHARGE (Ya Live & Learn) and he left. I told a friend about my horrible day and she suggested Speake's Plumbing. 972-271-9144 - Grant. I called and they came out (without me having to be home) and called me once he had diagnosed the problem. $137 (INC TAX) later I have a shower that shuts off and money left in the bank. $868 - $440 - $137 You decide.
