Nice location on beach near hotel. It was nice to walk to. Has ocean view and seating inside or out. We have oysters for start, then goat cheese salad and veal parmigiana. Food is good, but little expensive for portions. The staff is nice. They also have a breakfast menu. more

This place is located right across from the sand, with a full ocean view. It was windy the day we went, and we were getting sand in our eyes, but the staff put down the "shades" which made a huge difference. We had a small appetite so we just ordered the oysters spazio and the white pizza. Both were good even though I found the pizza to be a tad salty. more

I almost didn't go here because of some of the reviews--that would have been a mistake. My girlfriend and I had the most incredible experience. The food was amazing. They even let us order off-menu and nailed it! The wine list is incredible. The wait staff is friendly and at your service.\r \r Let me be clear, we did not go there for 2 for 1 margaritas--this review isn't about "oh the margaritas are all mix"--we went there for a nice meal and a nice bottle of wine and were impressed. We're foodies and very picky She had the chicken piccata and I had the beef saltimbocca (off menu). I can't say enough great things. The beef carpaccio appetizer was delicious. The best part of the meal, though, was dessert. We had the mixed berry and passion fruit mousse. We'll probably make it back for that again before we leave.\r \r Some people can be critical and just write bad reviews. They were probably fighting with their wife, had a sick child, pet died, or some reason for having a bad disposition on the day they reviewed Spazio.\r \r The food is great, don't let reviews convince you otherwise. more

Located across the street from the beach with an ocean view, this restaurant provides a nice atmosphere but with a very pricey menu. Started off with the oysters spazio which were very good, but for $15 I expect more than 4 small oysters. We also ordered the white pizza, which looked and smelled awesome, but salty! It was really hard to eat and be able to get over the saltiness. Do not order the two for one margharitas! They are nothing but mixers and ice and not very tasty. Stick with a wine, which they have a very nice selection of. The live flamenco music is really good and entertaining with an accompaning dancer. more

My boyfriend and I walked up and down the strip looking for a restaurant with a view that had live music that would still allow us to talk while we ate. We picked Spazio's because it met all our criteria. The view was awesome, the food was good, and the music was very nice. more

If Jerry Seinfield came to South Florida...and wanted Pizza I would not take him to the over priced Pizza Place called Spazio's next to the Elbo Room...Hell these people have to stay in business only because you drink so much at Elbo Room,,and dont know what you are doing...not to mention Tourists never pay attention to money...anyway...me and a lovely chica orderd a large everything on it pizza. The crust was burnt...the waitress was a little rude, but maybe I could not understand her...she took 20 minutes to get our drinks and they were not even that busy...the live entertainment was great, always a plus, but hard to hear with Elbo Room rocking next door....If you want good pizza, go to to Nicks on Ocean Blvd....hell even California Pizza Kitchen could have beat this one up....and Jerry..take my advice...there is a little by the slice place around the corner...called "Pizza" go there.....you might throw up later...but at least you enjoy it going down... more

Bad service.Bad food. Got sick after the pasta. Been to a lot of places in ft lauderdale and this is definitely the worst. Great view though. The view does not outweigh being ignored by the staff watered down drinks and sub par food. This is the third time we tried it and consistently disappointed. more

A more sophisticated Miami flair must do if you're in the area looking for cocktails on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Sexy, dreamy inside decor and ambiance, friendly waitresses, great martini list! Try the watermelon martini its delicious! This is a great place to stop in and have drinks if you're looking to get away from the typical tourist bars and "Spring Breaker" atmosphere that floods Ft. Lauderdale Beach. South Beach Miami sophistication in Ft. Lauderdale! more

My wife and I ate here last week and I have to say I truly enjoyed the food. I ordered the Veal chop (The special) and my wife had the Filet Mignon. \r They were both cooked exactly as ordered and the sauces perfectly complimented the dishes. If I was to pick at something, it would be the sides are really small. \r I ordered an extra vegetable medley to 'complete' my meal which at the price I felt should have been included, and at 5.95 consisted of little. \r The entertainment, a Spanish guitarist and Flamenco dancer were excellent and a great touch.\r The venue itself is trendy and simple, and very tastefully done.\r My only complaint would be that the smoking should be limited to the outside patio area as we had a table of drunks puffing away at the next table which was very off putting. Before anyone says anything .. I am an occasional smoker and my wife is a fully fledged one.\r i did come here on the second seating of dinner, and after reading some of the other reviews that may have made all of the difference as I certainly did not experience any of their gripes!! I would definately go back when in town!! more

Let's face facts, do you really stop by Spazio's or any other restaurant along the beach for the food. Short answer NO!!! The food is OK, calamari was good, as well as the mahi mahi wrap. Burgers cooked to ordered, not bad.\r \r Now...for the view...that is AWESOME!!! more

My girlfriend and I went to Spazio for an early dinner and were not impressed at all. \r \r I ordered a Ceaser salad to open and a Seafood pasta dish. She ordered a Ceaser Salad and Gnocci. The lettuce in the ceaser was inedible and was 1/2 brown. $6 each for dying lettuce. The cheese was fine... but If I had lettuce like that at home it would be thrown out in a minute. My meal was served lukewarm. It was presented to the table very nicely - in a duck foil that was cut open at the table... too bad it wasn't cooked properly. Her Gnocci was fine... to quote "It's ok... not great, but not terrible". \r \r The bill came to $90 with added tip (15%). No wine or liquor, just soft drinks, salad and meal. Biggest waste of $90 I've spent this year.... Next time i'll just go to IL Mulino on Sunrise, spend 35% less and get a 200% better meal. \r \r The service was fine... Nothing spectacular... but not horrible. It wasn't crowded... but it wasn't dead... looked 40-50% full. But they just didn't seem to care much... The attitude seemed to be that since they were on the beach and cool, they didn't need to work very hard. Great view of the beach, outdoor seating, poorly prepared food and mediocre service. more

The snapper and margaritas were amazing.....lovely sunset with great Jazz music. Do yourself a favor and go there!!!\r \r Recommended!! more
