Spanky's has a wide selection of deli sandwiches available. I'm particularly a fan of the chicken, warmed, on toasted bread. There are also mini-wiches available that complement well with soup. The tea is fairly good.
The spectacular thing at Spanky's, however, is the ice cream. The cookie-wiches are good, but I prefer to get a cone. They advertise that it is made less than 100 feet from the counter - all I know is that it tastes very good. My personal favorites are the butter pecan and the cookies and cream.
Spanky's can be quite crowded at lunch hour. The setup inside does not lend itself well to large (more than four people) lunch groups.
