I've had the pleasure of working, and living virtually all over Texas in my career. From the Pan Handle to the Lower Rio Grande Valley, El Paso to Dallas. I love Mexican food, and really that's about the only restaurants I look for when out for a meal.
Most of the food I find these days is repetitive, and poorly, done. I wish I had never heard of the word chilpolte. At The Spanish Inn you will find food virtually unchanged since the early1950s. Authentic, delicious, and reliable time after time.
Pros: Inexpensive, Reliable, Good Parking
Cons: , no tortillas served w, small salsa bowls
