Spain Rincon has the best Portuguese food in this area. The place is a little place and a little run down but has great food. It could use some updating but the food is wonderful.

The meals that they have in here are so close the authentic ones that they have down south. They pretty much have the things in check and they continue to improve gradually. more

Great Portugese Food 12/16/2008

This small place has excellent Portugese food. The dining facilities may not be the best, but the tasty food makes up for it. The prices are reasonable as well. more

We found this place years ago. 12/7/2007

Used to live in West Orange - we would go to Don Pepe's - Newark Iron Bound for special occasions. When we moved to Rockaway, we found this place - at first we didn't go in - (looked a bit like a biker bar sans the bikes) but after going in, we were stunned, it's nothing of the sort - Spanish/Portuguese cuisine is the best we've had!... I was upset that Don's was so far away until this find - now I wouldn't trade it for the world!...\r My recommendations - Paella Valenciana (feeds 2-3 people easy). or the Salmon in green sauce!. Wife loves the stuffed shrimp.\r Make sure - Appetizer: Garlic Shrimp - it's phenomenal!\r $$ - 30 pp w/o alcohol or drinks. more
