This is a wonderful zoo to bring you kids too. There is a lot to see and do and the kids will have a blast. They seem to add new stuff every year and each time we go back, it's better then it was before. Wonderful exhibites, educational programs and grounds. I consider this zoo up to par with the larger area zoos and having it so close is a huge bonus. I highly recommend it, it's worth the trip! more

Great family zoo! 10/10/2005

This is not a state of the art, high end zoo. It lacks a lot of larger animals and has a limited selection. but is is a GREAT family zoo for kids. They have elephant rides and camel rides. Their animal selection is limited to monkeys, giraffes, two lions and 2 tigers, birds, camels, elephants, alligator and a lot of smaller animals. They have a great area for picnics, lots of tables. Parking is free, and is easy to get to. A great way to spend a day with family. more
