I have always thought of orthopedic surgery as scary, but my experience at Southwest Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists changed my opinion. My new ankle works great, and I'm back to my old activities. I had a very serious ankle injury a few years ago that resulted in permanent ankle damage. My regular doctor suggested physical therapy to help me regain the ability to walk, but I still had trouble. After the surgery, I had a few months of rehabilitation. My ankle joint replacement was well worth it, because the pain is gone and I'm back to walking and even hiking. I recommend Southwest Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists to anyone who needs ankle or foot surgery. The doctors are skilled surgeons who really know what they are doing. The staff are also a bunch of great folks. more
