Reading the negative reviews and I am surprised. I live in Santa Teresa and pass there daily. The dogs, when they are out, are having a fun time. My dog, Steeler, loves it there. Kane, well, he's not very sociable and prefers to stay home. But each time when we pick them up, both dogs are clean and happy. Staff are friendly, well maybe not Hawaii-like friendly, but they are cordial. more

I've been taking my dog, Leo, for years to SWACC and I have never had one problem. The staff is very efficient, although sometimes during rush hour it can be a little backed up. Leo has always been very well-cared for and they have staff that supervise the dogs all day. Leo's been boarded and he goes to day care. There is a list of services offered (and the price for each service) while your dog is boarded, so you choose what you want before you drop your pet off. I've been to many dog boarding places and this is the best all around. Leo loves going and I feel comfortable leaving Leo. I highly recommend them. more

I recently boarded my 6yr old blue stafford terrier at SWACC. The receptionist was rude and the staff kept my dog in a cage for the entire 6days after they had decided not to allow him out for play time.. I paid an extra 16$ a day to make sure he gets out of his cage. They did not walk him or let him out the entire time he was there. He came back smelling awful and looking really skinny. I will never go back. This place is not animal friendly. more

I recently boarded my puppy with SWACC and took in a bottle of medication that had been prescribed by my vet. When I picked him up they returned my bottle of meds that had one pill left. When I got home and went to give my dog his medication I noticed it was NOT the medication my vet had prescribed. SWACC had been giving my pet some random medication from who knows where, that I had not been informed of ,nor had approved. I plan on suing them immediately. DO NOT board your pet here!!! more

I boarded my 2 dogs and 3 cats there several times. In general it was positive experience. I did not like so much dog's grooming, my pet was a little injured. I was surprised about negative review of some customers. This time I will try Adobe animal hospital with my dogs. I want to compare these services. more

I have taken my two dogs there several times before and I will never go back. For one, we brought our dogs very expensive orthopedic bed for her to sleep on since she has arthritis while she was staying there when we were out of town. When we got back they could not find the bed even though our name was written on it. They offered to reimburse us for a new one but when we brought in the reciept one of the managers refused to repay us and screamed at us. Finally she threw the money at us and stormed off! On another occasion we went to pick up my dog and her nose was all torn up and bleeding she was so scared she wouldnt bark or do anything for days and kept peeing the house when she would hear a loud noise. She was also sick to her stomach for several days. Those people there are rude, unprofessional, and should be investigated for animal cruelity!! \r \r more

I have been taking my dogs to SWACC for about 14 years for boarding and grooming. They are always happy and clean when I pick them up. The staff is very nice especially Sally. She has been there since I have been going there. The first time I was there she took me on a tour of the dog and cat facilities first thing in the morning. They were spotless and smelled very fresh. I was very impressed and will continue taking my pets there for as long as I have them. more

My dog likes going to SACC. We've boarded him there two times and plan to reserve another week this summer. It was really cute last time because he picked one of the young men who worked there and kind of got attached. Followed him around the whole time he worked. Many employees knew my dog, Luke, by name and that made me feel like they are truly engaged and concerned with his well-being while we have to be away. I'm very grateful to have a quality facility like SACC and feel at ease leaving my dog with them. Pros: Friendly, professional more

For over a year this was my vet of choice, I often boarded my dog and cats there for up to 3 weeks at a time. I like that someone was there 24 hours a day. Climate-controlled kennel--not hi-tech, but kept them safe and comfy. Their Royal Canine dog food less expensive than at PetSmart. My dog enjoyed daycare--big yard, shade, people to watch & play with, pool parties! Snacks! Friendly front office sometimes grumpy, but aren't we all sometimes? Hey Jen20, get a grip on reality! I lived in El Paso for 6 years and I used this place several times. I once tried another place just to see how it went for my pets worst mistake I could have done. Southwest my dogs were taking very good care of they were shown alot of love and attention in my time away. I never once felt that because of my race that had anything to do with how my dogs were carried for. I would totally tell people to bring their pets here. I loved this place and have moved away several years ago but my daughter now lives there and I told her to take her pets there. The people were friendly and the place was clean. I was always 100% happy with my pets stay there. Pros: my pets were taken very good care !!!! more

We have a, let's say ""high maintenance"" dog. She is fond of escaping and a sponge for attention. Therefore, it was very difficult to go out of town and find someone who could take care of her. My doctor recommended this place for boarding and all I can say is she's thrilled when we're walking in the door, and happy and content when I pick her up. They let her out to play, she can go in the pool when it's warm; they even have ""pupsicles"" and barbeques for them. My only complaint is that it's far from my home, but it's certainly worth the drive. Pros: They care about pets like their owners do. Cons: Long drive; dog training option with another company no good. more

the office need a total make over of young, friendly people instead of the old sun damaged folks; because I am mexican and drive a hummer, they automatically give me a long stare; place needs a new smell other than that old bengay odor Pros: nothing Cons: rude, mean people more

After relocating to a new area, a friend recommended this place. I have been very happy with the office?s level of service. Their prices are fantastic, they have been great at following directions when caring for my sensitive dogs, and went the extra mile to help me comply with local licensing regulations. Pros: Great pricing, friendly staff. Cons: None yet. more
