Ok, as a small business owner ... you need to be fair and not so short-sighted. If you want discount, go to a discount place but do not expect a full service business to offer you a discount.
Do you take a cut in pay for him? Or anyone for that matter? Do you go to Wegman's and demand a refund because Aldee's was cheaper?
If indeed he is over-priced, YOU make the choice to make the purchase and use the services. Leaving a bad review because YOU failed to shop around for a price that better suited you is passive-aggressive and a reflection on you not the business owner.
I find Bill a pleasure to work with. Yes, he does charge full retail. Yes he does give me excellent service and goes above and beyond. Yes, he is honest and forthright about not giving discounts.
If I wanted Ollie's prices and self-service ... I would have sought them out. Take responsibility for your choices and decisions.
