Well to start off with, I had already ordered Tux's from a store at NorthLake, they went out of business. I found Southlake on line under tuxedos! Talked to Peggy on the phone first and she was very helpful. Meet with Susan the next day and she was very through in the measuring of the party, helped me with my selections! A week before the wedding came, she called, we came in a everything fit even to the ring bearer! Besides that, they REPRESS everything to make sure it is PERFECT! At the inauguration of President Obama next week....I will be wearing an After Six Tuxedo from Southlake Cleaners. We just couldn't resist being part of US history. Well, I have been using Southlake Cleaners since they opened in 1989 and I can tell you from experience, there is NO company that tries harder, works 7-7, and has the BEST customer service!\r \r I just had a formal event at the Omni in Atlanta. When I picked up the clothes at the cleaners, I just realized that they have started renting tuxedos. I was measured and fitted by a very knowledgeable clerk. Customer service here at Southlake is second to none. The staff listen to us when we are pointing out stains.. ALL work is done on the premises, Unlike many other cleaners in the Lake Norman area. Any concern is handled promptly. I love the drive through, especially helpful when it is raining. This is a one stop service company-DRY CLEANING, LAUNDRY, ALTERATIONS, and EMBROIDERY SERVICES. I ""heard"" that TUXEDO services will become available in the fall. How awesome! Now my husband won't have to drive to Charlotte to get fitted. Their slogan, ""when image matters"" is so true! I needed to get something done quick for a family reunion. A friend of mine recommended Southlake Embroidery at Southlake Cleaners. I dropped off my items on Saturday and picked them up on Monday evening. The embroiderer is smart and creative. She helped me decided between several images and helped me save money too. I had a spaghetti spill on a white blouse. It had been cleaned at another cleaners in the area but the spot still showed through. I took a recommendation from a lady that works with me. She said take it to Southlake Cleaners, if they can't get it out....no one can! I was skeptical. I left the blouse with the clerk who listened very thoughtfully about my concern. I picked up the blouse the very NEXT day. The spot was gone and the blouse had been pressed very lovely. I was thrilled. All of my husband's shirts go here and all of my clothes too. I drive from Gastonia where I teach high school but live in the Lake Norman community. Southlake has been in the area since 1989 and I have used their services since 1995. NO OTHER cleaners can get spots out like the folks at Southlake. They have a seamstress with turn around time 3 days or less. I want to use the embroidery services for Father's Day.
