2000 VW Jetta.....brought car...two days later the water pump went out....plastic propeller in the pump???......was told they replaced with a metal one-NOT....4 years later the water pump goes again...guess what the propeller inside is plastic............they are a rip off...it was supposed to be replaced with a metal one-obviously they didnt do what they said they were going to do........also check engine light stays on.....all the parts in the car says MADE IN MEXICO-now come on...........the window regulator broke.........all the pieces in this car are plastic...the glove box the center console are all broke.....and to top it off-when you loose your keys your screwed....not only they charge you an arm and a leg to replace them.....then you have to get your car towed up there-to be charged another $200.00 on top just to program the damn keys.....WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VW.........Its made in MEXICO. Everyone knows buying a car is an adventure. My trip to this dealership was an adventure as well. We had a very upbeat salesman, as they always are, he showed us around the lot and let us test drive a few cars. The real adventure started when the negotiating began. Being knowledgable about cars and their prices particularly the one I was looking at (Jetta). He was trying to sell me a base priced car that would go for around 17-19 thousand for 25 thousand dollars. Of course I rejected and told him that I would have to check in at another time. It did not end there, they called my house many times for the next month to try to get me to come back and buy a car. more

This place has friendly sales people, but they are abouthem not you. We got a jetta from them that they really should nothave sold to use. We told them that we has sold it so we could get this one and they were just like ok we will ignore the bank then. That was wierd so then they put us in a smart lease which was ok but Mike the lease guy was a complete jerk. In the end we had to sell the jetta because the car ended up not being sold, so they kinda weren't so helpful after all. more

I want to give all of you looking for a new car a word of wisdom: No matter what, do NOT go to Greenbrier Volkswagen. They will sell you a lemon and tell you it isn't their fault, then try to charge you an arm and a leg for repairs. The car I bought from them fell apart within DAYS of purchase. I had to have it towed 6 times in three months! Each time they would tell me something else was wrong, and even though I had an extended warranty, they'd tell me it was not covered and it was a "maintenence issue". Their repair people are rude, pushy, and untruthful. Honestly I don't recommend a Volkswagen at all, but if you do buy one, make sure it is not there or you'll regret it. more
