We work with the most technologically advanced device makers on the planet, and are contracted with about every insurance plan available in our region.At Southern Orthocare, we have the privilege of serving many amputee patients to whom we provide ongoing care. Frankly, they become family to us.We work with our amputee patients from pre-surgery consulting through the post-surgery shrinking and healing process, then through the fitting of both the temporary and ultimately definitive prosthesis, and beyond. We provide high-end custom prosthetics for both upper and lower extremity.Our practitioners are experienced and skilled in all types of lower extremity prosthetic devices including microprocessor knees, elevated vacuum, passive suction, pin lock, and suspension sleeves. We customize each prosthesis to each patient's anatomy, condition, K-level, goals, and desires. We also provide body powered as well as myoelectric upper extremity prosthetic devices.
