great shop..enjoy the garden area most of all 6/5/2009

Can always find garden items and gifts for all occasions. All of the different shop change with the seasons and Southern Market i has become my favorite place to shop for the holidays. I also love the initial gift items and the baby merchandsie Pros: love the vintage Knoxville coasters..love to give as gifts more

Pretty Shop 12/21/2007

This is a pretty shop but the merchandise is a bit pricey, similar items can be found at area flea markets at a much more reasonable cost. There are some unique creations by area artisans. more

Southern Market offers a wide variety of decorative items in all price ranges. A great shop to browse with a constant flow of new items! Pros: large variety, varied price range, comfortable atmospher more

Pretty good Market for Knoxville! 11/28/2005

Love to browse this market but many of the prices are too high! Lots of local vendors with beautiful pieces but the staff isn't too knowledgable about what they are selling. more

Never know what you might find 5/25/2005

The Southern Market is exactly that - a market. There are booths (very nice booths) set up so that an individual can sell specialty items they may make or get at market but not "run a store". Booths I have seen include: baby and children items, kitchen and bar, invitations, jewelry, accessories for the home, silk plants, oil portraits, packaged gift food items and MORE! I try and go here every year to find unique Christmas gifts for those hard to find people on your list. more
