I have been doing business in Rio Rancho for many years and have been using Southern Blvd Automotive from the begining and have good service. but no one is ever perfect and if I ever had a problem i just talked to John and no more problem. when I read reviews that are negative my only thought is there is 2 sides to the story. I highly recommend Southern blvd Automotive, they are fair and honest. Call another shop and they'll tell you what you want to hear, go to Southern blvd, and you'll get what you paid for. It's not easy to trust anyone these days. If you don't understand shop-talk, it's easy to pay extra for car repairs you don't need. In the last 15 years I've had 8-10 different vehicle serviced regularly at Southern Blvd Automotive and have gotten to know most of the employees there. You will not find a mechanic's shop with more integrity than this one. If you don't need it, they won't recommend it. (I question the bad review from Oct 2011, I'm thinking there's a side that's not being told here.) Southern Blvd Automotive is the real deal when it comes to honest car repairs. more

WOW!! I just read the above review.......I kept relooking to see if was the same garage I go to. It was!!! We have been going for almost 10 years. My dad died 3 years ago and they take care of my Mom. She had an oil leak...asked for it to be repaired. THEY COULD HAVE...for several 100's but they told her she was better off checking it frequently...because opening it to fix it would most likely cause more issues because of the age. THEY WERE HONEST, UP FRONT AND TOOK CARE OF HER! more

Don't ever bring your car here. Most dishonest auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. My car only needed the ignition replaced, they didn't have to diagnose anything, all I needed is for them to order the parts and replace it. Its been over 3 weeks now and my car is sitting in their lot disassembled along with another 40-50 cars in their lot. If you don't have time to fix my car then don't give me the run around! I need that car to get to work and go to school. Its going to cost $700 dollars... I called the BMW dealership and they said they would of done it for less money and in less than a week! Its absurd, I feel ripped off and helpless....people like this need to be held accountable for their shitty and sketchy/shady business practices. If your looking for an honest, hard working, and prompt mechanic then look elsewhere because this is not the place. more
