I chose to have a standing seam roof installed on my home because I preferred the look and it looks better than I imagined. more

These guys did a great job on my roof that they put on last summer. Very professional and went above and beyond to fix a small concern I had. There was a small scratch on one of the pieces you could see from the ground and they came back the next week to fix it with no problems. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roof in the area. more

BEWARE-CALL ANYONE ELSE. Very poor service and roof installation. I had a metal roof installed by them and they did not match up the seams. They finally came back months later and scratched and dented the pieces they fixed. They also installed it incorrectly where it will probably eventually leak because there is a large hump adjoining the pieces. I paid for the 45-year paint warranty but that is void now from their poor installation. I've called them more times than I can count and they will not return my calls and will not fix their mistake.WV Attorney General's office has been no help at all. A shameful company that I cannot believe is still in business. more

I recommend Southern Building Systems to anyone looking for metal roof repair or installation. I have Ondura roofing on my home that was not properly installed by an independent contractor before I bought the house. The ridge cap was the wrong size and allowed rain to leak into my attic space and eventually into the living area. I tried to get "Joe Roofer" to come back and replace the existing ridge cap that he had installed with the correct size and he kept telling me that he would (for over 8 months), but never did. \r I called Southern Building Systems and they replaced the existing ridge cap with the proper size and the leaking stopped. They have been in business for almost 20 years because they manage to practice good business ethics with a friendly attitude and are very knowledgeable about installing and repairing metal roofing. more
