Before today, I had a two year membership w/Southern Air. Recently I had to called them twice in a three month span over a leak in the coil. This cause the freezing fluid to leak. They charged me twice knowing that this fluid would continue to leak out. I felt scammed. This could have just been a coincidence with the poor service from reading the prior reviews. But I suggest if you are w/Southern Air to get a second opinion. Instead of trying to replace the coil, they suggested that I purchase a new unit for $2900. I don't believe Southern Air's technicians ever tried to find a replacement coil. I believe they wanted to just keep charging $200 for freezing fluid until I bought a new unit. Fix right or it's free is the motto. No one ever offered me that!! Lastly, the customer service from the customer service technicians was nasty. No compassion or assistance from a customer in a 80 degree house. Imagine working 10 hours and coming home w/two young children into a warm house. I got nothing but attitude. Again, if you are a customer you may want to get a second opinion on your air unit. If you aren't a customer, if you read this review, don't say you weren't warned!!
