The Southeast branch of the Nashville library system is my neighborhood library. It is small, but they make the most of their space. The staff is so friendly; it's a pleasure to visit the location on a regular basis.
It seems like the best books, DVDs and CDs are saved for the downtown branch. When I browse at Southeast, I see a lot of older books on the shelves. The great thing about Nashville's library system, though, is that you can do all kinds of things online. You can look at your list of checked-out items, browse through the catalog of all library materials and request items. When you request something, you can select at which branch you want to pick it up.
There are six computers on which you can access the internet for thirty minutes at a time. That seems to be the most popular service; the computers are always busy.
