The South Shore Medical Center is a family place, and my doctor treats me with respect. Sometimes I've had to wait a really long time to be called though and that can be annoying. It's a clean environment and the doctors I've seen when my primary doctor wasn't available have been nice and efficient. A lot of local people work there which can be good and bad. It's good because I can say hi to friends and neighbors when I go for an appointment, but bad because I feel weird about everyone knowing I had a doctor's appointment. Everyone does go to the doctor's though :).
