Great office and doctors. I have seen each one of them. They strive to stay on time and see me as an emergency when needed. I work in ocnstruction and often get foreign bodies in my eyes. I drive 2.5 hours to have my family's eyes examined by Dr.Luchs. I lived on long Island but moved to NJ and couldn't find a Dr that even comes close in comparison. The staff is friendly and the waiting time is not bad since they have a TV with news and they do not run very late. I'm usually taken within minutes of my scheduled appointment. There's a technician, I think her name is Lorraine, who is absolutely wonderful. Which brings me to Dr. Luchs. He could probably fry an egg and examine your eyes at the same time! He's truly talented. My husband is extremely picky with his eyesight and he has to have the most perfect prescription for his contacts, which Dr.Luchs achieves. He is THE best! My sister had an eye emergency and I suggested she call the office I use. She did so and got an appointment right away with Dr. Flicker. He made an accurate diagnosis and she was as good as new in no time. We were greeted with a smile and welcome at the front desk and were called in to the exam area right away. Very experienced staff. more

My family has used the South Shore Eye Care Practice for many years. Dr. Luchs handled my father-in-law (a difficult personality at age 88) as an ultimate professional. All Doctors are wonderful and caring. The desk staff know their business. They are polite and caring. Emergencies are actually seen and not given appointments weeks later as in other practices. The technical staff is wonderful as well. Additionally the equipment is always the latest and the office is kept neat and tidy. Pros: knowledgeable staff, timeliness of appt., friendly and caring more
