Worst dentist office in Reno. Do not go there. They do not care about their patients. Had to have both of my root canals redone by a more professional, talented dentist. Had an emergency with one of my teeth and they wouldn't help me. more

I've never had a nicer dentist experience then the one I had at this Gentle Dental. I was pleased with the wait time and how fast I was able to get an appointment. However, requesting to get my records sent to another dentist in a different city was a different story. It took FOUR calls and TWO times for the appropriate forms to be mailed in to finally get some resolution. The fourth call was placed to Gentle Dental two days before my appointment at my NEW dentist. Having previously talking to the front desk help, three times prior, with no positive results I figured this time to direct my concerns to a more reliable source - the office manager. After a heated conversation with the office manager on the incompetence of her hired staff she FINALLY accepted that my concerns were valid and agreed to my request of having my records overnighted to the new office - or so i think. I made the appointment for denture fitting and cleaning my lower teeth. Half a tank of gas and a co pay later they told me I needed to have the treatment done and made an appointment for another day. Then I waited a half hour for them to write out an estimate of what the dentures would cost me. Added to each insurance price they add a lab fee. Crown, plus lab fee, temp filling plus lab fee. They said the insurance made them charge for the lab fee. I called the insurance and they said that was the dentist fee not theirs. When I asked the office about this they got mad, rude and then I got a letter they would not serve my family anymore. Their cost is about 800.00 over the fee for non insured patients. more

It seems like the denist is very good, but my insurance is good and everytime we go in, its like $150 bucks to get our teeth cleaned and my husband spend $200 something for 2 fillings..... more
