Great work, got it all done in a day 1/30/2013

Southland Movers was so responsive, at first I needed some boxes, then they made a special trip out to bring me more boxes. When we did the move, it was a little confusing for them because I wasn't sure what I wanted in storage and at the house, and they were really accommodating for me. They got it all done in one day and they knocked out the entire job. more

Outstanding~! 1/29/2013

My husband and I are so impressed by this company. They went above and beyond our expectations. They were all three so helpful and never took a breath. We used them because of their ratings and price to move us from Arlington, TX. to Spring, TX. They were extremely careful with our furniture and boxes. They are also fast. We simply can't say enough good about this company. We will definitely use them again when we retire in four or five years. Thank you again Southland Movers~! We thank God for a company that represents themselves such as you. more

The best 1/5/2013

I had a great experience with these movers. You want fast, efficient, cheap, nice people who take care of your stuff, the place you moved out and the place you move in to. The three guys edward, marvin, and george were great. Did not mind when I had to move things around again. These guys carried my luggage through my new hardwood flooring, really taking extra care! They looked super tired but they were so efficient and fast. Adam, the person I contacted, was very flexible and tried to accomdate my requests. I moved within sugar land only btw. Had a three bedroom townhome and they did the work in three hours flat, no surcharges, no hidden fees. Believe me I inquired with ten movers in the sugar land area and this had the best service, offer, even coverage. Thank you, I will recommend you to all I know! more

Wow! Excellent Moving Company! 12/3/2012

I was very skeptical about having a moving company move my belongings a long distance. However, I am very pleased with this moving company. The owner will go beyond the call of duty to ensure that you are happy! The movers are very professional and are very careful with your belongings. There is a reason this company gets five stars because they are truly exceptional!!!! more

I have moved with Southland Movers three times and it's been a great experience every time. They have packed me and done the loading and unloading each time. I just moved from Texas to California and nothing was broken. Nothing. They are just great. more

Moving with Care 6/8/2012

Southland Movers moved our business furniture and files from the old location to the new one. The movers were careful to wrap furniture, files, drawers that might come open in transit and electronic equipment with care. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for my next move. more

Great experience in a timely manner. 5/22/2012

Actually, when I started looking at all the movers, I did some research and saw Southland Movers' good reviews, which is why I went with them. I looked at other movers, but I decided to go with Southland. I was very happy with them. They did a good job, were timely, and didn't tear up anything. They're flexible on times, and as far as delivery, they had it sent that same afternoon after I signed the papers. Everything was convenient. more

Everything was definitely better than expected, and the price came out less than expected! They did a great job. Quality Movers for a Great Price! 12/13/2011

We chose the 3-man option and could not have been happier! All three men were quick and professional. They came in, got our things loaded, got to the new house & unloaded us all for the same low price quoted with no hidden fees or extra charges. They were fast, friendly, and courteous and nothing was broken or damaged. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who's moving! more

Arrived unprepared for agreed upon services (i.e. packing). Employees were very nice but not particularly efficient. While nothing was damaged, the means of packing some belongings was haphazard and likely would have resulted in some damage with a longer trip to the new household. RESPONSE FROM Southland Movers: It is correct. Our truck had to be changed and new crew went to customer and did not have the packing material with them and they had wait 30 minutes for supplies to get there that we took the 30 minutes off. On time, and reasonably priced. One of the 3 guys who came was hostile and very rude. They left quite a few furniture unwrapped of the plastic sheet they wrapped it with before moving, that I noticed after they left. more

Quick and Professional and Affordable 12/10/2011

The two man crew called to verify my address and showed up at the allotted time with the quoted estimate sheet in hand. They treated my items with care and drove cautiously to the final destination. I paid exactly what was quoted over the phone. I plan to use them again and recommend them to others. more

Very good service, but were a little lacking in some areas. 12/5/2011

Southland Movers was above average. They weren't bad, but they weren't the best. They were somewhat organized in some cases, and in other cases they were a little less organized. Specifically, on the moving side they did well, but when it came to tearing down and rebuilding they did less well, so something were good and some were not so hot. However, the owner was very conscientious about the customer. He was available for the whole move, rather than hiring somebody else to be there, and he quickly addressed any issues that I brought up, so I thought the service was very good. more
