I paid $89 for service visit, then was charged AN ADDITIONAL $355.90 to replace and install an air pressure sensing switch (about a $50 part) which took all of an hour (at most) ...

This company ripped off my condo association ... No record keeping, billed for master electricians not needed at premium rate, lied and created ""codes"" as a scam... I would not recommend their lack of integrity ... They threaten with lawyers .. The owner is a crook. more

Let me start off by saying that I was very impressed with the good customer service over the phone, which is what compelled me to come in for an appointment to take care of my laptop. I don't know much about computers, but what I do know is that they aren't supposed to randomly shut down when you are using them. Mine kept shutting down when I was watching movies or playing games. And they fixed fast and for a fair price. more

Great Job on my furnace 10/19/2011

I went to kick on my furnace the other morning only to find there was no hot air and that I couldn't get the pilot to stay light. My knowledge of furnaces is very limited and i wanted to make sure I got it working before it started getting really cold. I called South Hills Electric Heating and Cooling the guy they sent out was extremely professional and knowledgeable, he did his best to explain what was wrong w my unit. Long story short my heater is now working great and I'm ready for the winter...bring it on! more

Extraordinary Business 7/11/2011

I called South Hills Electric because my air conditioning wasn't running properly. They sent a technician out right away to diagnose the problem. The technician noticed that my a/c was very old and suggested that I have a new one put in. I was a little uneasy at first but I decided to have it done because I had heard that new air conditioning systems save money in the long run. South Hills Electric was very flexible; willing to meet the needs of my hectic schedule. They had a brand new a/c put in at a fair and affordable price and now my home is colder than ever inside and I'm already noticing a BIG difference in my electric bill! Excellent Experience with South Hills Electric! 7/11/2011

Our A/C went out on one of the hottest days of summer, we called South Hills Electric after 9 pm on a Sunday and they were quick to send out a technician. Pat did an excellent job checking our system and was able to find the problem quickly. He had us up and running in no time and he took the time to explain to us what he had done to fix the problem. The price for the part they installed and the cost of Pat coming out was extremely reasonable, especially for an after hours call. We are very impressed with their service and price, highly recommend using South Hills Electric! more

Great Guys 7/8/2011

I called South Hills Electric Heating and Cooling out to take a look at my AC unit that did not seem to be running as efficiently as it had the previous summer. The tech that came out was very professional and seemed to really know his stuff....long story short my AC is pumping nice cold air again and I am a happy customer. more

High Prices - get a second opinion. 7/2/2011

The technicians were courteous, but quoted a price of $900 to replace a blower fan motor (a small, $50 part that takes 1 hour to install). They then tried to convince me that it was more cost-efficient just to spend $3,500 on a new furnace, and pressured me to sign the contract right there. I got a second quote from a competing business and was glad I did. My AC works, and for less than 1/4 of the price that SHE quoted me. Get a second quote from another company before proceeding with work that these scam artists recommend. Or, better yet, don't even bother calling South Hills Electric. It's not worth the $85 they'll charge you just for showing up at your door. more

Geeks On-site Computer Repair Service is Fast Affordable Computer Repair! 1/1/2010

My computer is 3 or 4 years old runs windows xp and suddenly got infected with a virus. I called Geeks On-site on new years eve and to my surprise they not only answered the phone but were able to send out a tech the very same afternoon. I was pleasantly shocked. When GP got here he spent about 10 minutes reviewing my computer and making tweaks. He then rebooted the computer and the virus was gone. I couldn't believe it, but I guess he really know his stuff and he got me back up and running so fast. He even helped with my laptop too since we had so much time left. I really think he did a wonderful job. I would STRONGLY recommend Geeks On-site for fast affordable computer repair services. I am Geeks On-site customer forever, they came through for me and I want everyone to know about it. Call Geeks On-site and consider the problem resolved they will take care of you. more
