Found South End after googling for salvage parts. I happened to have a CS130 alternator that needed rebuild. After reading other reviewers experience with getting a rebuild I figured it would be an excellent way to salvage my spare. It was an Ebay purchase that would have cost more to return it than to fix. It worked for 9 months and stopped charging.
I called ahead and they indicated they can rebuild it. I took it in and was told it would be done by 4pm that day, and they did in fact have it done for me by 4pm. I dropped it off at 1030am.
As for the staff, yes, they are a little short and rude but it's not the Hilton, it's a junkyard. Some of the reasons why I can understand. People walking in there asking for some vague part and pointing like a caveman expecting them to know exactly what they are talking about. For $60, got the regulator replaced and I now have a good working spare!
