South East Valley Vet

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'm absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Southeast Valley Vet. My little dog was attacked by a neighbor's large dog and had to be rushed to the Emergency Vet. She suffered sever lacerations and punctures. The treatment she received that evening was good. At discharge the staff indicated that my dog needed to return in 5 days to get the drains removed from her neck and return in 10 days to get the stitches removed for free. I took by dog back 5 days later to get the drains removed. I also informed the vet that she had not been eating for two days, her skin was extremely dry and that she was gnawing her paws incisively. Have been taking my dog to Dr. Anderson for 12 years. He saved her life after I first adopted her from the Humane Society and she became very ill. He told me at the time that she could have Distemper and that she might not survive.....well she did thank to Dr. Anderson. Then this past fall, my dog had developed a large lump which turned purple and she required surgery to remove. Dr. Anderson was so kind and reassured me that things would be ok but he was concerned the lump might me cancer, it wasn't. Then come December, another lump developed and this time it was cancer and another surgery. My dog did fantastic and recovered just fine. So far, things are going well and the cancer the type that normally is localized and so I was told to just watch the area in case the lump returns. I am so grateful to Dr. Anderson and it shows that he loves animals and cares too for their owners. I would never trust any other VET but him. Thank you doesn't seem enough. We love our pets, so great vet service is really important to us. A few years ago, we moved from the east side of the valley to the west side of the valley. We tried several vets close to our new home, but no one provides the care for our pets that Southeast does. Plus they have 24 hour emergency care. So, we now make the 40 minute commute to Southeast when we need to see a vet. At least I have a car that gets great gas mileage. Pros: null Cons: null more
