My bunny wasn't eating and all the vets I knew of in the area that took exotics, didn't have an exotic vet on for a few days. One place I called told me to call South Coastal who I'd never even heard of. The recptionist was so concerned for my bunny she asked me how fast I could get there! The vet and her assistant were both so good to him and figured out what was wrong with him (his teeth were overgrown) and said they would put him under and file his teeth right down even though they were closing in a half hour. And today despite the fact that they are closed the vet just called to ask how he was feeling. more

South Coastal Animal Health is in a class of its own. The four veterinarians, as well as the entire support staff, are the happiest, caring people you could meet. It is evident from the start that they all love working with the animals. From the first time you meet them, you have the confidence that they not only excell in veterinary knowledge but also that your pet is with the most caring group of people. Although they are not open 24 hrs, when my pet had to have major surgery, he was checked on throughout the night and (at my request) and I was called during the night to let me know that he was doing well and not in pain because I was so worried.
