I was in South Bend trying clarinets and, since it's a road trip for us, we looked for other things to do. They have a store with a cafe and a tour. The tour was nothing special but the store sure was. They made my wife a cup of hot chocolate made with dark chocolate. We also bought some candy. They have an "almost perfect" section where the candies are very, very good but the prices are reduced. The chocolate was wonderful. We had a great time. more

Take the Chocolate Tour 11/27/2005

If you are in South Bend, IN and love chocolate, it is a nice stop to visit the chocolate factory. For a small fee, you can see how the seeds of a cocoa plant are turned into the luxury of chocolate. And any imperfect items on the line, you get to sample. At the end of the tour you can browse their candy shop or enjoy a specialty coffee. They also sell some of their imperfect chocolates at a discount (same delicious taste but half the price). more
