My sister-in-law was admitted for Meningitis. The staff treated her very poorly. They did not attend to her needs. The nursing staff took 25-30 to respond to a call from her room. The made her feel as though they were inconvienced by responding to her questions and needs. Avoid this Medical Center as much as possible. more

i was treated very badly due to nursing staff and secretary being overly sensitive and insensitive to my feelings and needs, They spoke loudly to me with criticism for no reason and did not handle my complaints properly, but made me to feel as the bad person instead when I am not and was not. They were insensitive to my being very sick for a week and being new to austin and the hospital. Even the nursing manager did not believe me and spoke negatively and she just believed her staff that she said she knew for a long time. I felt so hurt and helpless there. I was disrespected and not cared about as a person. I would not recommend to anybody. Pros: adequate food and facilties Cons: negative and disrespectful and insensitive staff more
