This restaurant was recommended to me as a good place for a vegetarian to go (I'm a vegetarian); I finally decided to stop by the restaurant today for lunch. For those who haven't been, the entire restaurant of food is available for the low cost of $7.50 ea. (unlimited drinks are extra). You immediately go through a salad bar line prior to paying. Once paid, the diner is able to chose from various soups, pastas and breads from the bakery. I tried a little of everything, to get the full effect. While the restauran was recommended to me, I was disappointed with the selection for vegetarians. The salad bar was better than average, with all sorts of different toppings to be added. However, the pasta bar had only three different pastas to choose from, and I thought the fettucinne alfredo was less than desirable. There were 8 different soups to choose from, but only one specifically mentioned being vegetarian. While one or two others didn't have meat specifically in the ingrediants, they must have been made with meat stock in order to not have been vegetarian. The soup I did try was good, I must admit. The bakery had only muffins to offer, in addition to thre different forms of garlic bread. There was a dessert bar and a soda/juice bar. The food was decent, yet average. For the price, diners can receive a large portion of food; just be sure to go easy on the salad bar, otherwise you'll be too full to try the other fares. All in all, the restaurant reminded me of a Ponderosa (for those from the East), with less options to choose from.
Pros: price, portions
Cons: Loud
