I went into this store on the reccomendation of a friend. What a joke. They act like thier doing you a favor by helping you and seemed bothered when asked. Its Ironic stores like this even exist anymore, They may have been a viable source of music 20 years ago but after this experience it's I tunes all the way ! more

An alternative music store, with a large selection of new and used music. The only problem I had was that the customer service is kind of shady. I had to ask for help, which wasn't that big of a deal, and then the girl showed me where to go and how the store was set up. When I went back a few days later, it was like pulling teeth trying to get some help, so I just walked out without buying the CD's I had chosen. they probably lost $30 worth of my business that day. Better luck next time. more

  • Lay of the Land
SE Brandon occupies a former teen nightclub that's now a poster-plastered refuge for the musically minded, while the North Tampa branch originated the concept of sprawling homegrown record store. Thin on rap, but classic rockers, symphonic suckers and jazzheads alike get to scour their own deep bins for classics and rarities.

Used CDs range from six to ten dollars, but SE's guarantee means your disc won't have a scratch on it. It's worth a buck or two to look for double copies of bargain discs as the prices can truly vary. New discs go as high as $17, so it's better to wait a week and see what comes back in used. Import discs, T-shirts, videos, and box sets round out the vast selections at both stores.
