Sorrentos USED to be my favorite place to dine. With that said, I will explain why. In the positive, they've changed locations and the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. Now the negative: the food wasn't up to par. My children had the $6.95 small pizza and the bottom was black. Must've sat in the grill/warmer too long perhaps? My husband had the meatball fold over & he said it was too ""bready"" & the meatballs tasted store bought, although our waiter assured him they're made fresh in the back. I had the house $4 house salad which was too plain for the price. Iceberg lettuce, romaine, 1slice of tomato, 2 slices cucumber and bottled dressing..blah (I make a better salad at home). I also had the $8.95 cheese/meat stuffed shells. People- it was 3 small shells on a plate (not jumbo) 2 only with cheese and 1 with meat..smothered in excess of marinara. Awful! Yet somehow we managed to spend $37 total on this meal? My husband was mad! For that price we could've gone up the street to The Cheesecake Factory and had a delighful family meal! We most likely will not be going back. My husband was so dissapointed in this meal- he talked about it for 2 days...
