Sorrenti Cherry Valley Vineyard

My husband and I were there visiting the Vineyard doing a wine sampling, we had a young lady who served us her name was Nicole (who was very professional) unfortunately we heard the owner Mary Sorrenti owner making appalling jokes like instead of saying Kittatinny wine she was calling it kittens and titties. Experience was over all unprofessional except for the lady who was actually serving us and tried her best to ignore her boss. It's a sad situation when an owner is as unprofessional as we witnessed. more

This is a great place to start if you are looking to find good local wines of Pennsylvania. They actually have the vineyards on site, unlike other places that often import their wines. They offer tours on weekends which are very nice. My favorite variety is the fruit flavors, such as the strawberry and apple wines. They are very sweet and don't have the aftertaste that some wines have. It is difficult to find all the different variety of fruit wines that this place offers. They also have plenty of red and white wines as well. And they often have specials with really good prices, between $8 and $10 a bottle. The vineyard also hosts a lot of events that I see advertised in the store. They sound like fun, but I haven't been to one yet. Their wines have also won a lot of awards. It is a very impressive place. more
