Sorella Ristorante Italiano

I've gone to Sorella's for years, and I've always loved it, especially the halibut with angel hair, and the fresh bread and salads. Recently, I ordered some food to pick up, and it was HORRIBLE! The fried beef ravioli was rubbery and tasteless, the lasagna was WAY over-cooked, and even the bread didn't taste fresh. I even got sick after eating the lasagna just because it was so soggy and watery. What happened, Sorella's? more

The girl doesen't know what she's talking about, she sounds like one of those chronic complainers that doesen't tip well, which we waiters dread. Sorella's makes all our sauces daily, they have 18 ounce steaks that are hand cut, also have huge lamb shanks as well as stuffed walnut salmon in a lemon cream sause that the owners told she's genius on and which patrons give me there cell numbers so I can call them when we have them in. The chicken caccitore will make your knees buckle and the teri-mi-su is made from scratch and is amazing ! Are pizza's and calzones are the best and we can make them thin or thick ! Sorella's has a nice atmosphere and good service. The prices are a little high and the food is just average. The fettucine alfredo with chicken is a white blob with pieces of chicken. It's very stiff and not creamy like you'd expect. The pizza is okay, the crust lacked flavor and there was too much ""empty crust"" for my taste. Basically you take 4 bites from a slice of pizza and the rest is just plain bread. The cheese ravioli was okay, It looked and tasted like the frozen kind that they sell at Costco! During lunchtime they have a small buffet with about 4 choices plus salad. I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant for anything in particular. Pros: nice looking restaurant inside & out Cons: average food that's not worth the price more
