Very expensive, came off in one week, ruined my natural lashes, EXTREMELY hard to get in for fills! I will NEVER go back, nor will I EVER get lash extensions done again!

Trista is the BEST!!! 7/16/2014

Trista has been doing my hair for going on two years now, and I have never walked away unsatisfied. She makes my hair color look so natural and I'm always getting compliments from the girls at work. To top that off, she is super flexible with my schedule (a major plus when I was still in nursing school). An appointment with her is like visiting an old friend! more

Bad experience 7/2/2014

Bad experience with a botched coloring by Trista. I went to her based on reviews here. Will not go back. Not only did she mess up my color she was also snotty about me being exactly two minutes late. Very inflexible with her schedule and outright rude to you if you don't agree to everything she says and wants to do with your hair. more

real disappointment 4/11/2012

Extremely new to the city and hoped for an appointment the week I arrived which was just before Easter. I did not read reviews on the internet - big mistake, I just drove a nice area of town and thought surely that would be sufficient. The pedicure was nice enough but the Shellac manicure is horrific! It has been 4 days since my appointment and I am so embarrassed about my hands. Please book elsewhere. more

Before I went to this place, I did some research for the best barber/salon places in Lubbock and I came across Sophisticuts. While I was at it, I read many good reviews about Trista so I decided to make an appointment w/her today. Trista really did not disappoint me at all. Not only is she very well-experienced but also care about the health of your hair and whether or not you leave happy. Besides that, I'm quite impressed w/ the way the shop is designed. It has a professional look and pleasant atmosphere. Frankly, I'm not sure about the other hair stylists but I can tell you this, you can't go wrong w/Trista. -Nicole more

I have been going to Trista for 8 years, for highlights & cuts. She is the best ever. My hair has never been in this good of shape. No split ends & I go on a regular basis, so it never looks like it needs color. more

I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Trista for about a year. I am always stopped and asked for the name of my stylist. If you want a GREAT cut and a FABULOUS color, go see Trista! Not only is she a wonderful stylist, she is pleasant to talk to and listens to your every desire. more

Great! 6/4/2009

I have been going to Sherri at Sophisticuts for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier. I went to her after taking chemo (and a lot of my hair falling out) and she has been nothing but the best at helping me to feel better about the way I look and always giving me a cut which I love. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I would highly recommend her. She is kind, gracious, and charges a fair price. more

Caution!!!! 5/29/2008

Looks great on the outside and I'm sure there are many wonderful stylists who work there, unfortunately my first experience will be my last. The stylist did everything I asked her not to do and not what I asked for. I took a picture of the cut and was very specific about wanting to keep my length. I ended up with VERY short hair and looked nothing like the picture I brought in. It was so chopped up in the back, that I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. If you are very particular (like me) about how your hair is cut, then this may not be the place for you. more

Best place in Lubbock for hair cut!!! 5/6/2008

The prices vary depending on the hair stylist you get. They have numerous hair stylist working there-so the prices can range significantly. I have been going to Anna Wilson for 2 years, once a month now and love her-pay $25 for hair cut/shampoo and conditioner...she does a great job and is hip and cute !!! more

This is the place to go for a day to yourself! They have the best stylsts in town. You pay a pretty price for a regular haircut but it's oh so worth it! It's beautifuly decorated and just a girlie place to be! The location is great too...98th and Quaker! more
