Our child did so poorly at Sophia Academy we had to pull her mid year. Their teacher turnover is horrible and their enrollment is very down. The numbers for students they publish are not accurate. Last year after starting with 100+ students, several left mid year. Check teacher special education certifications. The founder has the final say on all matters and teachers have very little authority but all the responisbility to carry out founder's vision, which is self-serving in our opinion. more

My son was an invisible special education student and became an honored student leader at Sophia Academy. Sophia Academy was an answer to prayer for our family. more

Sophia Academy, the teachers and Marie Corrigan never lose site of the children that they serve. It is a school filled with great love for children with unique learning styles. And, Marie Corrigan has no reason to be at the school other than her goal to give to those children who need more but often get less! more

Expansion is great, but not when you lose your focus and interest in the children you are being paid to teach. more
