We went to Sono for the second time with friends on a Saturday night... as always the service was excellent, recommendations were top notch, and food was very fresh! We loved all of our sushis, drinks (martini's and mixed drinks are about $10 each- kind of pricey) and the appetizers. My only disappointment this time- was the calimari... the last time we had it (about 2 months ago) it was lightly dipped in tempura- almost barely so. It was out of this world! We raved about it to our friends! This time... it was HEAVILY covered in tempura batter and you almost could not even taste the calimari. Please, Sono, go back to the "lite" version of the tempura calimari... it was so much better... you could enjoy the freshness of the calimari... now you wouldn't know because of all the crunch! We will return again for the FABULOUS sushi!
